Isaiah 55: 8 – 11
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”
Have you ever had a plan that didn’t work out? Have you ever thought of a way that God was going to do something in your life and it ended up happening in a completely different way?
When our plans don’t go the way we want it to, what do we do? Often times we have plans and as we experience life it doesn’t always happen in the exact way that we think it should happen. Sometimes circumstances happen that we weren’t prepared for like a delay or an unexpected phone call or some sort of bad news.
What happens after we have mapped our life out and God has a different plan? When that dream takes longer than expected.
God has a plan! Although we may not understand what is happening right now we have to follow the Master’s plan. He knows what’s best! He sees beyond what we can ever see and He knows beyond what we can ever know.
God tells us in Jeremiah 29 11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
When God doesn’t do things in the way we want Him to we must know that’s a part of His protection and care for us. When we pick up His plans that’s were we find true success!
Prayer
Heavenly Father help us to trust you when things don’t go our way and help us to remember that you have everything under control and that you have an expected end. Guide and direct us to your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
