Indiana, USA (December 14, 2010) – The Salvation Army has reported that genuine gold coins have been dropped in their kettles over this Christmas season; both in Mishawaka and Kokomo!
“The South Bend Tribune reports that someone dropped a 1-ounce U.S. gold coin worth $1,400 in a kettle outside a Sam’s Club in Mishawaka. The coin was wrapped in a $100 bill and a small note thanking the organization for doing God’s work.” – Associated Press
It appears to us that somebody understands the life cycle of money and what is truly valuable, but not only that … they are still willing to give what is valuable despite the economic struggles.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
