2010 NFL Season with the Tennessee Titans

By G. MICHAEL GRAHAM

Vince Young led the Tennessee Titans to an 8-2 finish last year.   He will
need to keep on his game if the Titans are to avoid consecutive 0-6 starts
and make it back into the playoffs this year.  The fifth-year quarterback
from the University of Texas made the Pro Bowl after completing 152 of 259
passes for 1,879 yards, ten touchdowns, and seven interceptions for a
career-high 82.8 passer rating.  Also, there will be no questions about
Tennessee’s running game this coming season.  Chris Johnson is returning
after blitzing the league for 2,006 yards on the ground.

The Titans need to fill-in for the departed defensive end, Kyle Vanden
Bosch, and linebacker, Keith Bullock.  Vanden Bosch and Bullock are now
playing for the Detroit Lions and New York Giants, respectively.  Also,
the Titans did not re-sign center Kevin Mawae, but that does not seem to
bother Titans coach Jeff Fisher.  “I don’t have any reservations about the
lack of our concerns about it,” Fisher recently told the Associated Press.
“We’ve got a good locker room.  We have young players emerging at each of
the positions.  This team has had a great foundation laid here over the
years and the decades.”

The Titans open the season September 12 at Noon against the Oakland
Raiders
at LP Field.
