Things seem to come in threes for Phil Jackson.  He guided the Chicago Bulls to three-peat titles from 1991 to 1993 and 1996 to 1998.  Also, the Lakers won three straight titles under Jackson between 2000 and 2002.  If history repeats itself, the Lakers could be on their way to another three-peat under Jackson. The storied franchise recently won its 16th NBA title with an 83-79 win over the Boston Celtics.  Los Angeles had to overcome a 13-point deficit to repeat as champions.  Also, the Celtics own seventeen crowns with their most recent one coming in 2008.

Kobe Bryant, the finals Most Valuable Player, had twenty-three points and fifteen rebounds. The Lakers moved within one title of Boston for the most overall.
