Our own CEO, Doug Deneve had the thrill of meeting one of today’s best-known motivational speakers in 2001. This has been a moment he will remember and cherish for a lifetime! Do you know who Peter Lowe is?
Peter Lowe was born in Pakistan to missionary parents and is now the head of a $25 million organization responsible for the largest seminars in the world!
Half a million people attend his seminars yearly nationwide. Based in Tampa, Florida, these events are peppered with famous speakers. Presidents and celebrities speak at these seminars, helping in its evangelical ministry bringing good news of the Gospel to the people.
The theme is “Success with Integrity” and includes business, music, spirituality and patriotism. Doug Deneve met Peter Lowe in 2001 at a Nashville seminar. He had press VIP access and was given the opportunity to have lunch with any of the speakers. He chose to eat with Mikhail Gorbachev, who was one of the days noted speakers. Fascinated with the luncheon experience, Doug returned to finish the seminar.
At the end of the seminar, Peter gave an altar call to everyone to give their heart to the Lord. Doug came forward, and went up on the stage. With every step Doug took as he made his way from the high peaks of the auditorium and to the stage, a huge spotlight shone down to guide his way. Peter stopped and spoke to him in front of all the attendees! Doug told Peter that God wanted him to come up on stage and that he was amazed, having never seen such an alter call at a seminar like this before!
Doug spoke about When Magazine and networking to Peter and the crowd. Peter was impressed enough to give Doug his phone numbers for his executive office! This shows what you can do with determination and persistence! Just like our Doug, you too can make your dreams happen, it takes faith and a little power from God!

When inspiration hits you. There is no denying the opportunity for growth and success. I have been introduced to Peter Lowe. It is indeed a privilege for all to have listened to him. I especially liked his interviews of successful people.
